c'est just un esei
Blade Runner is obviously my favourite movie, here you'll find the models and sets of the movie. On these pictures you can find many small details that you may have not noticed on screen. Let's now imagine the amount of work and time the conception of these models could have taken knowing that they only appear for a few minutes in the movie. There have been a very few derivated products released after the movie except Sniper (which has became a collector by now), as a matter of fact it's nearly impossible to find any product from Blade Runner nowadays.
Everything started with a « photo roman » called SF3D
(history What If) (written by To develop the storyline, Kow Yokoyama collaborated with Hiroshi Ichimura as story editor and Kunitaka Imai as graphic designer. The three creators drew visual inspiration from their combined interest), by the end of the year 1990 they produce some scenes with their scratch models. Thanks to the devellopement of the internet his work and design quicly becomes worldwide famous and it has been such a success that his models were released in stores in kit form models.
Now that the world and the design he created have taken off in terms of commercial success these models are avaliavable new transformed and modified interpretations, but some original creations still remain.
